Pizza Fusion Santa Monica...closed :(

It is a sad day for pizza lovers in Southern California.  Pizza Fusion in Santa Monica has closed, leaving lovers of tasty, organic (and gluten free!!) food to venture elsewhere to satisfy their palette.

Below is a picture at our once held love.  Please continue to support Pizza Fusion in Temecula and Hollywood so that our pizza dreams aren't completely crushed!

Pizza Fusion was a regular stop for myself and my husband whenever we were near (or could feign an excuse to be near) Santa Monica.  I first found the establishment on a whim in November of 2009 while searching for a place that served soda made with pure cane sugar for my hubby (he's allergic to high fructose corn syrup...need I say two peas in a pod?!).  We fell in love at first bite, as we enjoyed their delicious Big Kahuna with bacon, pineapple, and red onions (well, on my half!) on a tasty gluten free crust.  I was so excited to find a pizza that I could not only eat, but enjoy.  He was beyond excited to find some gluten free food that we could share without him needing to stop by In-n-Out on the way home! :)  Needless to say, we were hooked and anxious to share this new find with our friends and family.

So of course, as I was planning to meet a friend for lunch yesterday, I suggested Pizza Fusion!  When she got back to me to finalize our plans, I was shocked to learn that Pizza Fusion in Santa Monica was closed and therefore, no longer an option!  Unable to believe that it was true, I immediately had my husband double check, and sure enough a 2 year relationship was over. :(  Sad day...

Yummy!!!

My first food photo from my phone!!! This is what remains from a bowl of EnviroKidz Organic Peanut Butter Panda Puffs... man I feel like I'm advertising for them or something, but it is some delicious cereal!

Waiting With True Anticipation

So I've been sitting here putting together this blog without really knowing what it is that I'm wanting to accomplish. Do I forge ahead into the unknown with my head high; or do I grab the tails of those in front of me and hope that I go where I need to? That sounds like a really deep emotional thought, but I have no clue what I'm wanting to accomplish here.
